THE 10 PARAMETERS OF QUALITY ANALYSIS

Of the ten parameters of the most important is it N-3 Moisture. The 4.6% less moisture in our saffron makes a HUGE difference in quality. Notice the difference in rows 7, 8, and 9 – the values for N-7 (flavor) are 24.2 points above CATEGORY I, for N-8 (aroma) we are 15.1 points above CATEGORY I, and for N-9 (color) we are 63.4 points above CATEGORY I saffron. Lower moisture and elimination of impurities (yellow threads, etc.) means that you will get MORE saffron for your dollar, a longer shelf life, better quality, and you will experience the color, aroma, and flavor at just $0.06 per serving. With each of your saffron purchases, we will provide the laboratory report of that specific batch so that you, the customer, may ensure that the saffron you are using is of the highest quality. Quality parameters go UP when you lower the moisture and eliminate impurities – the laboratory proves it, no matter what “experts” say. Only when you have LOWER MOISTURE you are able to create powder from threads in the convenience of your own home. Our measurement system is designed exclusively for our quality of saffron, which is the lowest market price of all brands.

UNDERSTANDING SAFFRON ANALYSIS

On the categories of saffron you have three grades – I, II, and III – depending in quality as you go right, with our results on the far left. Notice the Characteristics/Parameters In rows 1, 3, and 4 – you get 0.4% less impurities, 4.6% leads moisture, and 2.9% less ash. In other words, you are getting 7.9% less Impurities in your saffron. This 7.9% in one kilo of saffron equates to 79 grams of impurities which is $221.06 of cheating in one kilo which costs you, the consumer, $2,266.58 when you buy saffron at $79.95 per ounce. If you purchase saffron by the ounce (28.35 gr) you get cheated 2.23 gr, which equates to $6,48 more per ounce.
